I'm in the middle of several "projects" right now and several possible transactions. It's a bit overwhelming really (but a lot of fun)!
ANYWAY.......I'm trying determine how difficult you believe it it would be to locate some original (I'd need four) Camco tom mufflers (two rack toms / two floor toms) from the Chanute KS-era? Also, do you believe that the cost would be prohibitive, even if they could be found? Finally, does anyone know if there are other vintage mufflers that would fit the same hole patterns on the shells that the Camcos would?
ON A SEPARATE ISSUE.............I might be "swapping", "trading", "buying" and/or "selling" some vintage kits in the immediate future, depending on how things do or don't work out. Everything's kind of up in the air right now. I'm trying to determine comparable dollar values (not sound quality or collectibility) between a 60s Ludwig Downbeat Kit (20/12/14) and a 60s Rogers Holiday Kit (22/12/13/16/18), both in WMP and in comparable condition (extremely clean). Would you trade these kits "straight up" for eachother with "value" being the only consideration?
