Interesting Drum Setup!!! Last viewed: 54 minutes ago

I have looking into the Wrecking Crew lately and this has got me looking into some of the associated drum kits. What really intrigued me was the bigger set that Karen Carpenter used. The basic 4 pc. with the 4 racked concert toms in front. In my mind what this did was to allow the ride cymbal to be low at the right and it also had the beauty of still being a 4 piece by just pulling the front 4 out. I have been thinking about duplicating this. I have the basic kit using some of my current pearl kit. The problem is color. I have an '80's stain silver that I was not able to find a few years back.

Would it look stupid to have these 4 concert toms in a different color???
