Welcome, sir! This is a wonderful forum with a lot of great guys sharing their skills and knowledge! I sure would like to see some pictures of your drums though! You must have a lot of interesting stories to tell as well.

Yes, welcome. There is no official introdction section here, I think, so this is it. Hope you stay for a while and like salty said, share some stories and show off those tubs.

Well thanks guys yes I reckon I have few tales
to tell after 58 years as a pro !
Although I have some posts on Youtube
(look up talbotvanman) I have yet to sus out
posting photos here.Anyone help with this please.
welcome you should be right at home with the geezers here, as im one so let the stories
b told!!!!
I don't even know what a Boosey & Hawkes is and the only Ajax I know is the stuff to clean your bathroom sink. So photos please! And welcome.
Welcome friend! Enjoy the forum.........it's never too late to learn new things.....Jump For Joy
Welcome! You'll really like it here. Lots of great people to chat with. I watched a few of your vids on YT. Great playing and really like the band too!! I had to laugh at the broken brush vid. Nice recovery and time keeping while you were looking for the new pair of brushes!! ;) Yes please do tell a bit more about your kit too.
Welcome, sir! I'm also interested in seeing pics of your kit. I recently acquired a Radio King kit from a man who has an Ajax kit. He said they are the best drums he's ever played and that he will never get rid of them. They must really be something if he feels that way, and if you have been playing yours for 58 years. All I know about them is they were made in London. So, enlighten us, please.
As far a pictures go, here is the very simple version: save a picture on your computer, click the paper clip icon in the Vintage Drum Forum message screen, click the Browse tab to find your saved picture file, then click the Upload tab. You may have to resize the photo if the file is too large...and doing that is different on different computers. Good luck!
