your all wrong get a high end yamaha the bestParty

I actually have too second this. I have played DW9000s and Yamaha's High end stuff preferred the Yammies. I use a Yamaha Direct drive both single and double I will never use another pedal.

But this is a bass drum pedal, maybe the most personal piece of equipment out there. Some love the Speed King, I don't... Others love Iron Cobras I think they feel like I am playing bricks... Like others have said go out there and test everything out and see what ya like.

I have DW 9002-they are on my practice kit.

I have an Axis Longboard-I use it on my small Gretsch bop kit.

I use a Tama Iron Cobra and Pearl Eliminator for everything else. Plus, I have an older late 90's DW 5000 accelerator and I have an original Camco accelerator and two regular Camco's. They are all great and all work fine.

I've played the DW 5000 and 7000 for years. Like 'em both. I've tried LOTS of other pedals, but none felt quite as good to my feet. So, there ya go.

From backbeatkeeper

I have one too...Goran is a very cool dude and great customer support.

The Vector website quotes a price in EURO's !!! Are they available locally ?

I use a Pearl Eliminator and really like it, but the theory behind the Vector looks like it makes a lot of sense....

I played DW5000s for a long time. Then I began to have nerve pain in my feet. So after trying a lot of kick pedals I bought Pearl demon drives. They are easier on my feet(old guy) as they are really smooth with a lot of easy adjustments that I can make to help with foot pain. Most drummers want pedals that can handle heavy hitters but I am not kicking hard anymore and thats ok with me & for the feet. But if you are a heavy hitter Demon drives are really well built and can take the pounding.

Not to change the tread but most drummers protect their hearing but totally forget about their feet especially after double basses & double pedals came on scene. I know,I know Hi Hats. But take it from an old drummer, go easy on your feet now, because as you age things start falling apart.

"Vector"

Why can't you just angle the drum and pedal, at least that's what works for me.

Hoppy - because then you won't go out and buy the one that changes angle! Are you trying to wreck the American economy with your home-spun solutions?

You just have to learn to stop making sense! Yes Sir

John

Too many great drums to list here!

what happened to vintage pedals is this really what every one plays no speed kings or ghost DOH

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
