Is this floor tom worth it? Last viewed: 8 hours ago

Saw this on Ebay, trying to find a floor tom to match my bd and 13" tom. This one has ripped wrap, is it fixable? Is it worth the asking

The wrap tear is kinda crappy but RB gretsch, well gretsch in general is usually pricey. I would look into how hard is it to match your wrap. Maybe send for some samples from some of the wrap suppliers.

I like Drums...

Ditto...

And, I've pulled some pix of the drum mentioned. The first link worked for me.

Tough call. It is pricey...especially with the tear in the wrap. I would grab it if I could answer YES to the following questions:

1. Will it be be added to a player's kit?

2. Does the color and pattern match my mount tom?

3. Have I been looking for a long time and afraid of losing it?

4. Can I afford it?

The drum looks ready to play. The defect won't be seen. You will then be able to research repair or re-wrap possibilities under no pressure while enjoying the use of the drum. Good luck.
