Is This Rogers Kit Worth It? Last viewed: 2 hours ago
I know and trust the seller. I actually almost bought this off of him. In Austin, right?
I'd go for it. Offer $50 less. If you don't let me know :)
Look at Larry ,getting bit by the Rogers bug.Why not.The Caddilac of drums for a while, and they sound every bit as good,or better than modern drums(except for Dennis Wilsons Camcos :) ).Let the flames begin

Old Rogers wrap is very fragile and there are alot of wrap cracked drums out there,i know i`ve got a couple. But they are amazing drums and well worth the money.I say an offer in the middle of $400. is a fair deal to both parties.

Isn't the hardware alone worth more than $300? If that set were mine, I'd part it out before I let it go for only $300. Actually, if the set were mine, I'd fill in the cracks with some silver glitter from the craft store and keep it as a gigging set.

No Swivo tom arm should count for at least a $50 deduction from the asking price. Another $300 for a good rewrap will make for a beautiful player's set. I couldn't enlarge the picture clearly enough to read the rectangular dealer's badge on the drum. From a distance, it looks like Brochstein's in Houston. Herb Brochstein founded the Promark company. He sold his personal Gretsch drum set complete with unshaven bass drum reso head to DJ Fontana.
