I am in the market for a project vintage snare shell. Is there something I can to to fix/prevent further damage on this?

After seeing the attached pic, I'd pass on this shell. That's some serious shell damage. You'll find better project candidates.

Was an impact wrench used to attach the lugs at some point??
If you can get it for 25 it would be a challenging project.

Thanks guys. It looks involved so I will pass. Also would hate to be working on it to have that piece just give way and crack.
