I just bought this off ebay.
It has a silver and black football badge with "slingerland drums" on the left but no city of origin. It does have a serial #
It does not have an internal muffler nor were there any holes.
The "zoomatic" has a handle with a small knob on top and is not as high as
the standard zoomatics that extend over the rim.
The shell is all brass and the hoops appears to be steel since a magnet adheres to it.
Even if this is an import, why should the quality of the drum be any different
than if the drum was made in USA by Slingerland... It is a sold brass shell
