flowerThanks to everyone to helped me with this 20" floor tom conversion, idea with the spacers was rock solid, I used that idea and it worked great, here is the drum all done with my new set up for tomorrow, the only thing I need to nail down when I return are some spurs, for now the legs, with some wood under side the drum is fine for now, but what I nice kit, I'll call this configuration #264,342 LOL

Man, what a great set-up and set of drums to take out on your fist gig with the new band. It looks (and I'll bet it sounds,) killer!

Break a leg tomorrow night!

Remember to breath!

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Kit looks great. I like the natural hoop look (a little country'fied)..

Your'e gonna need two sets of spurs now... a pair for the drum plus a pair for your boots...

Cheers

What did you use for the spacer on the bd tension rods? I needed some spacers for my tension rods and picked some stainless spacer pieces from a local hardware store.

Nice looking set you have put together. Excellent.

Gary,

That looks fabulous! Pick up some 3/8" spurs and you will be good to go. With spacing of your mounts at 90 degrees you should be able get plenty of bite.

So musically, what is thought behind the concert tom? Just curious.

YOu won't believe what I did for spacers, I went to home depot and talked to the sales guy, he showed me all the spacers they had, metal and plastic, they were like >69 each I needed 16, didnt feel like spending that much, while I was walking around in the plumbing section I found a 5 foot plastic tube (hard type) the rods fit perfectly, the 5 foot peice was $1.19 LOL. I have enough left over for another 50 spacers, you want this left over piece? you can have it I won't need anymore, LOL
