John Bonham Interview 1980 ("All Right Now") Last viewed: 12 minutes ago

Loading...

The story is that John Bonham was so nervous about going on "Alright Now" as Billy Connolly's guest that he almost backed out at the last moment. Convinced to relax and that it would be fun, John submitted, though hesitated to engage with answers longer than a word or three, even though he was being interviewed by his friend, Billy. This was the last television interview he did as it was only filmed a few months before his death - September 7, 1980.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
