Robyn, keep on eye out on CL and ebay. The Ludwig Jr kits come with all that hardware your looking for in small sizes. Perfect for little kids. You may see something come up for sale in your area. As they get out grown they get put up for sale cheap most times. It's the Accent series in way small sizes. There's a few other brands too that seem to have the same type hardware. The new JR kits have really gone up in price. Like $300 wow! I picked one up for our Grandson a few years ago for Christmas for half that with free shipping. Was a holiday special at the time. Also on the bass spurs and tom legs you can grab some 1/4" or 5/16" round stock (or whatever size you need) from Home D. And a pack of rubber vacuum caps from Napa for the tips. Cut to size and give the tops a round over on the grinding wheel. Add the rubber tips and done. If the rubber tips are a smidge big some elec tape on the round stock will fix that. You can give the round stock a few bends for floor tom legs. Cheap n easy! If I see anything you need I'll post it here.

Thank you very much for your suggestions, they are very good ideas. I have actually gave them thought myself. I have til may to finish this project and thought if i could find actual drum parts, i would go that way. If i cant, i will make what i can. The legs n spurs should be easy to make. If you do come across anything, please feel free to post it on this thread. Again thank you for your input and interest in my project.

Robyn, I looked around and don't see anything on your list, sorry. What do you need the arm for? I will look again tomorrow, had a busy day, as usual lol! Floor tom legs and mounts seem kinda hard to come by, maybe there is an alternative like a small stand or something?

Jeff, thank you very much for your help, i appreciate the time you have taken out of your day. As far as the arm...i will only need it if i find a 6"tom to add. If not, no big deal, it will be a 1up, 2dn set up.

If they are 5/16 yes they will worl, how much.Wish i would of seen that kit you posted the link for b4 i got this one it is probly on better shape. Oh well would not have this neat project to do.

They are 1/4" ( I thought you said 5/16" or smaller), they are not real drum parts, just some 1/4" steel rod cut off and bent. But boy they have that lovely gold finish, lol!

Thank you!

Update on parts...got heads, strainer and wires for the snare drum. Gonna replace the inside snare with the outside snare. Judes snare will look just like gramma robyns.
