I think you did well Vern. That is a great kit in a cool wrap. You are correct about the market around the STL area. I never have much luck selling anything locally for what it's worth.
Just an ok score!! Early 70's Ludwigs in Bowling Blue finish plus Supra Last viewed: 2 hours ago
Looks great. And you could always convert the 14" to a big fat snare.
Nice score. Love that Bowling Ball Oyster Blue, one of my favourite finishes.
Yes, I agree, not a bad price. The drums are really nice and the wrap is a good one.
Thank you!

Those look great. I guess for ebay I did ok and it was free shipping. Like most of you, I typically only buy if the deal is smoking. If I put these on my local Craigslist, I would only get $700 for them. The St. Louis market is very soft on drums these days.
THank Verminator, I really dig your kit! Had much time to play it yet?

Was that a BIN or a auction?
Nice set and 950 is a great price really, especially if that included the shipping! :)
Groovy kit man!
Nice kit,I THINK YOU DID ALRIGHT,the supra looks like it is in nice condition, and for what it is worth the 6 ply drum matches well with the others, extra bonus if you turn it into a matching snare.
I like that 14" as a down tom with your 16" there's nothing wrong with those 6 ply drums. They sound great.

It was an auction with a start price of $950. I waited until 30 seconds left and then bid $950. I have not received them yet. UPS predicts I will get them on Monday. I cannot wait. I used to have this same finish a few years ago but in much worse shape. They sounded amazing and I regretted selling them almost immediately. My only concern is the wrap that is lifting. I am planning on gluing them down. Is there any reason that I should not do this? I was simply going to use some super glue. I am also excited about the supra as it appears to be all original.
