I had a Wooding snare once and it looked exactly like yours. The double tom holder bracket does not look original though.

Yeah, I agree. Compared to the 1975 catalogue I found online, the drums, lugs and the badge look identical, but the hardware looks different than the one on the photos. So I guess the owner bought a shellset and then some other hardware to go with it.
Anyway, updates coming in a few hours ;)
Okay guys, here's the big reveal.
As you guessed, it is a Wooding set. The owner didn't know the date when he bought it or when it had been produced.
It's a 20", 12", 16", 14" shellset. The color is like some kind of coffee brown, not black as it looked on the photos online. The overall shape of the drums is okay, the bearing edge of the resonant sides is worn from constantly lying blank, but not irreparable. The hardware inside of the drums is rusty, it needs some cleaning, as well as the tension rods. Lugs and hoops are in good shape.
What bothers me a bit, is the wrap coming off the bassdrum at two points, you can see it on one side on the photo. the floortom wrap is coming off too. I will need to fix that.
The snare: Strainer is broken, needs to be replaced. Apart from that, the overall shape is good, needs a polish.
http://prnt.sc/c51a3q (disregard the ugly rug :P )
Rest of the hardware - well, at least the parts that could've come with the original set. I couldn't find any labels or so. One cymbal stand had been replaced, it's a dixon one. I'll use that right away.
The rest needs a polish and lots of WD-40 to run smoothly again.
I might toss the tom arm, its covered in rust and the ball thingy isnt working right either.
As for the cymbals: I'll make an extra post, because I can't quite trace some of the cymbals I found.
The drumset is in great shape for a restauration IMO, I'm glad I got it and I'm looking forward to working on that beauty :)
Ah, so there's a little adder under the grass (this is a Dutch expression translated to Englih). Seems your missing the tom's reso hoops. Those are special (look to be die cast) and don't look like any other standard (die cast) hoop. I guess they will be hard to find. Same goes for the strainer. Still a nice set, though.
Something else: are you a painter? Could it be that the painting left in the picture is on Deviantart? I seem to recognize it.

Yeah, the missing Tom hoops might be hard to find. I don't know how I'll solve that yet.
Concerning the painting - the picture was taken in my Mom's house. She's a hobby painter, but doesn't sell any of her works, so I guess it's just a random similarity :)
Hey Max
i sent you an email:-) nice set though;-)
Hoops are diecast as bart already said-to do the restoration job- you need to know what you want!
Do you want it fully time period correctly restored or do you want to have a players set to have big fun with?
Wooding parts are nearly impossible to find-the gurus here know that;-) but to make that set go back to buissnes i don´t see much of a big problem. I for myself would make an as close as possible time period correct restoration-with main factor to make that set ROCK again:-)
But Max we already talked-don´t worry-either way-this set comes back to live again:-)
All the best
Christian
