How rare do you guys think this is? I often look on the bay and online but have seen just one tom in this color. Anyway few things need to be cleaned but this kit was born together and amazingly has all original parts. No extra holes or modifications.

ive seen a pioneer or two over the years. seems like there was a floor tom as well. kinda thought vintagemore had one or some of these. i'm sure he'll chime in if so.

Mike, I think you are correct on the sizes. Going through the catalogs it looks like that cymbal holder on the bass drum was around circa 1963. I will let you know about the finish when I pick them up. Looks like I will get another Pioneer after all.
I have that same cymbal mount on mine, and they are 1967.

My 67 Clubdate has the tom style cymbal mount. This kit is date stamped 1965. All that nickle hardware is going to be fun to polish. Per old threads I have read going the pro route might be my best option.
