Good morning VDF. I just wandered over here from an "other forum" and decided I'd like to stay a while. Nice to see some familiar names, but I doubt anyone will recognize mine (at least here). This is my guitar forums user name among others.

Been playing and collecting about 35 years. Love collecting Gretsch snares and have a few Ludwigs in the house too. Looking forward to participating here and picking up useful Vintage tidbits.

Ah, the "General" section.... Sorry, I threw the intro in the wrong measure.... Oh well. I've done it before and it won't be the last time I am sure.

If I can find anything interesting to share I'll post some pictures. Was kind if thinking this place was for "vintage drummers" so I signed up. I do see a lot of familiar names as I mentioned which is great! Forgive me if you all have seen my stuff before...!

Wow, Freak! Is that what you did with the NOS Slingy brass shell? I love the millennium strainer. Man, you did a nice job on that one. Gotdam die-cast hoops and all.

Here's a shot of mine for ya. It's sitting behind my kit downstairs, I play it every day. It's an amazing sounding snare drum. Cuts like a samurai sword.
