It was a great deal from where I'm sitting (on the other side of the world) but the problem with calling it 'deal of the century' is that you really don't know until the end of the century whether it can take that title. If you keep looking hard a great deal will come around. Even here where American kits are very, very thin on the ground, I picked up a mint Pink oyster Slingy modern Jazz kit for $150 this year and a while back bought a Hayman Bop kit for $1. I think that i'll never top those deals but then there is still 87 years to go in this century.
