Just received some nice old Zildjians! Where can I get these weighed in grams? Last viewed: 57 minutes ago

I just picked up a 22" 50's Zildjian ride, a 18" Zildjian crash, and a pair of Zildjian 15" hi hats. The hi hats are a mixture of "made in USA" and Made in Turkey. All four cymbals are very nice.

Anyways, I will be posting them on febay soon and would like to know where everyone goes to get their cymbals weighed? Every vintage cymbal I have ever listed on febay I get the common question "how many grams does it weigh?".

Any help would be great!

Try using a kitchen gram scale, Mike! Ballpark gram weight is good enough. A lot of guys already know what the sound deal is by weight range.

Interesting sounding cymbals. You should advertize them here and let our guys have a look at them. Best of luck with your sale.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

You can also go to your local UPS or pack and ship store.

Maybe the local drug dealer has a scale.

As previously mentioned, you can take the cymbal to any store offering shipping services. They'll most likely weigh it in terms of pounds and ounces. From there, you can go online and find a free pounds-to-grams converter. Easy peasy!

I'm fortunate in that I used to work for Pitney Bowes and received a heavy-duty scale that accurately weighs up to 70 pounds. I love it!

Office Depot has them for less than $40. And they give out weight in grams. You can find them all day on Amazon as well
