Wow. I would have never believed it. Unreal. I spent serious time looking that thing over and would have sworn (actually I think I might have) that thing was cut into it. Oh well. If you've seen these stamps several times, I think I may have to admit I was wrong. Dang.

...unless...maybe...

no. I was wrong.

shoot.

Way to go Jaye. Now I'm bummin'.......ya bully.

Those are Italian made by UFIP. The trademark that I have pointed out here on the UFIP Rosetta stone is the one:

....well....I don't feel too bad. It wasn't a K Turkey cymbal, which was my stance. It also doesn't have the correct hammering, which was my stance. It also has "odd" cleaning work done, which was my stance. The only thing I missed was the actual authenticity of the stamp. That one got by me. So, all in all, not too horrible. Can I stay?

Here's another variant which is a mystery. Although this an Italian made cymbal this one has a Germany stamp along with it. To my knowledge only Meinl and Paiste made cymbals in Germany, but these are definitely not German style cymbals.

I think I've solved this for us. This is the StampMan. He was a European based comic back in the day. Quite popular, if I recall. Lots of fun adventures and plenty of danger and dames. Note that trademark extra long cigarette he's smoking. That just screams European spy guy. I can't believe I didn't see this before! Now, it's so obvious. Is it not?...
