Depends.... They made some three-ply versions which, with right bearing edge ( not Kent's strong point) could sound nice. If it's the crappy stranded mahogany, those sounded terrible and had cheaper lugs. The "new" Kent brand is not the same maker as the originals from Kenmore.

I have a very nice 1967 WMP 16" by 16" Revere,which is a Kent shell,with the "coffin" lugs.....

pm me if interested.........no extra holes, and cleaned and polished top to bottom.

No matter how you look at it,Kent floor toms are not "common".And any Kent with "coffin" lugs is super rare.I have yet to see,in modern times,a complete "coffin" lug Kent set,in any finish,in any combination of sizes.I agree with the above mentioned price,as long as the edges aren't split and it isn't warped.

Yes these sets with these lugs, "coffin" or "diamond" lugs, this is what I call them are rare. Last year I did find a complete Red Sparkle set, 22,13,16 w/matching 14" snare. I also own a Blue Sparkle diamond lug snare that's in mint condition. Kent started making these lug drums in the late 60's so I don't think many were made.

Burger Kin WHAT! NO PICTURES! The only coffin lug set I ever saw was in 1972!It was white satin flame 12-13-16-20.And I THINK it had a W+A double mount. But,it was a while ago....

Mouse, I am still thinking on getting the floor tom from you! Still have it?

Hmmm....Guys, in general.... Kent Floor Toms are NOT "Rare". They arent super common, but they are not rare. Kent made many of them during their tenure.

Not sure why anyone thinks Kent drums are cool , in any respect. They arent very good drums, they dont hold value, and even today are not worth much.

I've owned several Kent sets, snare drums, and toms, and got rid of everything except one snare drum which I'm in the middle of restoring, just as a back up to my Gretsch (same color).
