From what I have gathered (from this site mainly) they are an American drum that never garnered the coolness factor or following of the Slingerlands, Ludwigs or Rogers etc. I think they were made in New York and those sets come up from time to time and usually are not in the price ranges of the names I mentioned earlier and usually don't get much action on the site for whatever reason. I would call them a second tier American Drum based on the play they get on this site.

Well made American drums, and if I'm not mistaken the same shells as Gretsch.....Jasper shells.

Also those cymbals look like they might be something very nice. Would love to see close-ups or better pics of the cymbals.

Thank you, I think I will go check these out. I will post some pictures Tuesday night after I look or buy them. It will need a tom mount, not sure if that will be hard to get or not.

Kent's are cool,baby.Older white/gold badge with eight lug bass and snare!OH YEAH.That is uncommon.The floor tom looks like blue diamond pearl ,not blue sparkle.Probably MIJ because the set had no floor tom to begin with.And an Epic pedal to boot! NICE!Don't fret too much about the tom mount.I think I have one,but to be honest they sort of stink-(I'm gonna hear about that one).Also,don't be surprised if those are KRUT cymbals (that's KRUD with a T).I think alot of Kents were sold with them.
