So I won an auction yesterday for a 12" BDP tom with MIJ Slingy lugs and clip mount. I bought it BECAUSE... I think it may be one of the final cobbled-together Kent drums made before the switch over to all MIJ. The interior shot, though looking through the clear head, appears to be 2-ply maple-not luan. UNLESS this is a Pearl maple drum, which is also possible. Another oddity to join the others on the "Island of Misfit Drums".
