Friend has a Blue Sparkle kit he bought new in 1971. Looking for a snare. Budget is $400 'ish. Jazz player. Not adverse to wrapping a shell that original wrap too far gone. Any current wraps that are close?

You should be able to find a nice 60's Jazz Fest in Blue Sparkle in the $350-$400 range.

Hi Creighton!

Since the kit in question is from 1971, that would make it a B/O badge correct? I have a clone Jazz Festival, wrapped in blue sparkle with repro B/O badge. Keller 10/6 shell with all vintage Ludwig parts. Absolutely beautiful and looks new! It was meant to go with my 1970 Super Classic, but the snare drum has never been used. If interested, I can take pictures.
