Love that strainer!!! It is sooo simple!!! Easy to adjust, and of course it looks VERY retro!!! I still like a Trick better, but this is nearly as simple if not as bullet-proof.

You gotta see her in the wood, man!!! These pics are utter CRAP compared to real life!!!

She's a beast!!! I could probably get rid of half of my snares now. There's a few things she can't do; I just have yet to find those things. And die cast hoops are very much worth the extra money!!!!

I can keep the vintage Slingerlands at home with this drum. I could probably take two snares out to gig; the only reason why the other one would come out would be if something happened to the Knucklehead midgig!!!!

You are too kind Mr. D-, almost feel like I've hired a PR man that pays me! LOL! Here's a link to a few pics I took of her before she shipped. The other snare in the pics is for sale also, haven't listed it here because it's not vintage. Presently the only complete drum in stock, but will soon finish a 14x6.5 Stave Shell Bocote with brass hardware & Gibraltar Maple hoops (hybrid metal/wood top). Thought this was sold but buyer backed out. It is going to be a bit pricey due to the price of the parts & shell. The raw shell alone cost $179. Bocote ranks nearly twice that of American Rock Maple on the Janka scale coming in at 2,200. I have several 1-ply, steam bent shells in stock at present time including a 14x7 VC Maple which would be perfect replacement for a trashed out Radio King shell. Also have two other VC steam bent shells that are finished & awaiting hardware. One is a 14x5 Catalpa & the other is a 12x5 Cypress, both have hand-rubbed pure Tung Oil finishes that have taken more than a year to complete.

Thanks again for the plug you wacky wabbit!

PS- anyone wanting to see some of these can surf around my Facebook page, as long as you have an account you can view all of the drum images. The Bocote is actually the top shell in my Avatar pic.

Daniel-san,

If you put out crap, I would shout it from the roof tops, as well!!! But in too many cases, nobody gives a shout out to the good. My role in life is to tell people about the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Your drums should be on every drum shelf in North America, and perhaps in the World. You put out a fine drum, sir!!!!
