late 20s black enamel pioneer? Last viewed: 13 minutes ago

can anyone shed some light on this? it is what I believe to be a late 20s or early 30s Ludwig pioneer black enamel over brass. ive seen seen similar snares in both black and white enamel but I cant seem to find anything about it in catalogs.. or any good information period. so my questions are; did they make them like this? and if so through what years? this one never had a badge as far as I can tell and seems to be black enamel right over brass..

any help is much appreciated

Hi!

As far as I know, Pioneer model was released in 1928 and it came through 1940.

Factory option metal or wood (mahogany as first option or maple by request.)
