Did the 12" Tom on a late 50's Slingerland kit have a muffler?
i know there was no vent or badge, but was there a muffler.
my Floor Tom does, but my other Tom does not.

It looks like in the '59 catalog that it could go either way
The pic of the Windsor ensemble shows no muffler in the 13, but mine does.
The modern Jazz and Duet outfits show mufflers in the 12s, but the Swing-Master does not.
