Late 60s early 70s premier double bass kit Last viewed: 4 hours ago

I figured I would throw up a quick pic of a factory matched set of Premier drums. They don't come out of my closet often. 707 kit in the catalog. I never had the original posts to mount the toms properly. Got the rare 8x14 tuna can tom.

Those are nice. The bass drums have the same long spurs exactly like my Beverley's.

Do the bass drums also have two sets of little spurs underneath that you can adjust ?

Very impressive set Eminent Destiny and look to be in wonderful condition too. Most sets of this age and size have been split up and/or parted out.Good for you to have kept the family together as it`s caretaker.Bet they loved the chance to get out of the closet...

Ya. The story is I bought them quite a while ago to make them into a keith moon kit. But to be a proper moon kit, I had to find two more 8x14s and find at least two, 18(tall)x16 floor toms. Then mount rogers hardware. After I found all those toms, I came to the conclusion the only thing I would be using on this kit would be the bass drums. So I decided not to use it. Finding original vintage factory matched double bass kits is extremely rare. I couldn't bring myself to separate it or put a bunch of extra holes in it. It would be counter productive of the preservation of the hobby. So I'm soon gonna put them up for sale and just buy some bass drums separate and the last of the hardware I need.
