Late 60's Slingerland logo size & script Last viewed: 38 minutes ago

I was about to order a Slingerland logo sticker for my bass drum but then I realized that the stickers come in differing logo sizes and scripts.

Can someone please fill me in on the "correct" script (I guess post a photo?) and logo dimensions for a late 60's Slingerland kit? (chocolate milk interiors)

Thank you!!

Hi, DD- These puppies are roughly $5 US-I just measured my kickdrum head- Logos were bigger in late 60's. 8"-10" will probably look very nice! Buy one of each, keep the one you like most, and the rest will look GREAT on the back window of your car! Good Luck, and lmk- I've got a 14"x20" Slingy Kick I'm thinking of doing the same thing!...on this site, pictures rule. Please post 'em!

That would not be authentic.

The correct script for that era has a small "s" and the dimentions are 5" by 3/4" going down to 1" including the g tail.

Without posting photos the quickest way to see these logos is in the superb Slingerland section of this site, on the front page of every catalogue. The large "S" came in in '73, and the very large logos on bass drums I think not till about 79

Regards
