SOLD!!
This is a late model Camco drum kit for sale. Easier to tell you what you'll need to complete the kit and the "extra holes" it has. Looking to get $300.00 obo plus ship from So. cal. Approx. weight is 50 lbs in a 24 square box.
Shells are what I've been told and shared with from other drummers are 3 ply maple with 5 ply re-rings. Sizes are 22 x 14 (10 lug), 12 x 8 (6 lug), 13 x 9 (6 lug) and 16 x 16 (8 lug). There is extra holes from where someone put a Ludwig post mount on the bass drum shell and a Ludwig mount on the toms. From what I've read and been told the hardware was originally Tama stuff. All the lugs are stamped Made in Japan.
The issues and what's needed: The bass drum has a small hole that can be fixed by replying and a small amount of filler. There is extra holes from the Ludwig mount on the bass drum, but they are covered up if you use the Ludwig mount (not included). The Ludwig tom mounts on each if the toms has one elongated hole (see pictures). Included is all of the original lugs for the drums, a 12 and 16 COS hoop, a 22 inch COS bass drum hoop, floor tom leg holders (one has a different tightening wing nut from the other two), bass drum leg holders (one of the threaded bolts felts a bit cross threaded), 2 floor Tom legs and one bass drum leg (original).
The lugs and hardware has some pitting, but should polish up. 8 of the 10 original bass drum tension rods, with 2 that are not. You'll need tension rods for all the drums (I'll include the small handful that were on the 12 and 16), a new tom mount (or an older Ludwig post mount type) and a bass drum leg.
These shells have been relacquered at some time, this would be a great kit if it was rewrapped, as that was my original intention. I can't say enough about of the shells. They are beautiful and solid. The edges are clean enough to put heads on them and play them. This kit in the hands of a good restoration person would be a beautiful great sound gig kit or practice kit.
PM me if interested. Trades are welcome, but the only real thing I'm looking for now is a 20 Ludwig KB blue sparkle bass drum with rail mount or a 14 inch Ludwig blue sparkle Clubdate floor Tom (mid to late 60's)
