Those are beautiful, great work
Mike, what would we do without the forum, lol. Nice to see several members contributing to your project. I love what you did with the snare drum. It took me 3 years and 400.00 to find my floor tom, not sure it was worth 400 but had to pull the trigger or wait another 3 years. So, did you end up painting my hoop? Well done buddy!
Jeff
You're right. Many thanks to you and the rest of the forum guys. The hoop was perfect as it was. I ended up finding the other one on ebay. The inlays both matched pretty well.
Can't take the credit for the snare as it was done when i got it. I may have made a few changes to it, but that's about it. The nos wrap came from Allen Blaemire via Jerry Jenkins. God rest their souls..

I found this pic last night. This is what started the entire project..

I'm a Rogers guy through and through .. but .. LOVE these Mike! GREAT job, and the canister throne just complete's it!

So sweet. Kinda like my kit but nicer. Only flaw is the bass drum logo should be script?
Mike,
Congratulations - just a killer kit ! The matching canister throne just puts it over the top.
Love it !

Nope. That's an accurate very late 60's (the bass is a 69) front head. They use the block logo up top and the script logo on the bottom. Don't see too many of them. The blue ink at the bottom is also indicative of the same.
Here is a google pic of a keystone badge black panther kit (not mine) with the same head.

Mike,
Always nice to see someone ACTUALLY putting a kit together, when so many are splitting them up!
Fantastic job....but all of them you tackle come out great.
