1937 Leedy & Strupe (L&S) 6.5x14 high-end "Dictator" model snare drum. Since L&S only existed from 1931-1939, these drums are fairly rare.

--Mahogany shell w/maple reinforcement rings

--8-lug

--original Ivory Marine Pearl wrap

--all hardware & hoops are original except for a Leedy 3-point strainer that replaced the Dual Plane throwoff, leaving three small extra holes hidden under the strainer assembly (not sure if snare wires are original)

--Plating is flaking off on the lugs, but hoops, throwoff and butt are fine

--Stick Chopper hoops with drop gates on snare side

--Remo Fiberskyn batter and Evans 200 snare side head (so yes, modern heads DO fit)

--Great warm, vintage fat woody tone!
