I posted these the other day in the gallery section, i'm going to take the plunge and try to sell them here. 24" , 13", 16", 14" x 6".

I'd like to get $2000 CDN for them. I know it's steep but I have much more than that invested in them. I had the bearing edges touched up professionally so you can use plastic heads on them. (i own a 22" l&l that had a 90 degree bearing edge when i got it, not so much on standardization in those days i guess!) Practically new heads all around. Coated emperors on the toms, coated ambassadors on the bottoms, coated powerstroke 3 on the bass drum, and a remo skyntone on the snare.

thanks for looking!

Don't feel bad, I can't sell anything either, the economy is so bad there is no money. Try to wait until after November of 2012, I think we will see the economy start to recover.Clapping Happy2

With the exception of just a few items, I haven't had any problems selling anything. It's a matter of finding 'the' buyer for your particular item. The first guy that comes along who is hot for a vintage BDP kit and sees your ad, will contact you. Sometimes all it takes is a day or two. Other times it can take weeks or months. That's where the 'luck' part comes in in finding your buyer.

Be patient. That's a beautiful set of drums. Play with your prices a little until you find someone's 'trigger-pulling' range. They'll sell. You just haven't found your guy yet is all. Very best of luck with your sale. Hope it happens soon for you.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

thanks for all the kind words john,

is much appreciated.it's been a tough year for me selling things. and i've had some beauty things, it's just taken a long time. the flipside is that i've met some really awesome people, and got to geek out. so it all works out in the wash.

i just sold the snare so i'd let the kit go for $1200 this week.
