Hello!

I found myself buying this for $325 and I think it is a pretty good find!

I am only missing one screw, otherwise everything else appears to be original.

Very cool "free-floating" snare apparatus is the highlight of the drum, imho.

Also, this appears to have the original calf-skin heads.

Looks to me like you picked up a Leedy Elite Black Beauty Engraved snare drum for a fantastic price ! I will defer to our Gurus. Good luck with it.

That strainer is called the Marvel Strainer...can't tell, is the drum engraved? Either way you scored!

Scored is an understatement. Have you any idea that drum in that configuration is to find ?

For the record, a better photo shoot is in order. It looks much better no flash outside in the sun. On the beach maybe, in a bikini. More traditionally, by the pool.

I had no idea that this particular configuration is rare, at all.

Any recommendations on how to approach cleaning it, if at all?

And yes, it does deserve a bikini shoot! Lol!
