We (Tinted Windows) were on the show in 2009. Dave came up on the commercial break before our appearance and "caressed" my green sparkle bass drum. Left a big hand print on the virgin top!

After the song he came up and asked about the drums.

After the show I asked his personal assistant if he wanted a matching set (I had a spare road set in storage). She said "Please no, he has enough stuff."

That is an awesome story! I was wondering if he has his own vintage drum collection. Knowing he is fond of them I would love to see what is in his stash.

Yes cool thread Bun. I will miss Dave's drum love. He "bought" a kit from the Kaiser Chiefs' drummer one night. That's my favorite, probably because it was a Brady ;)
