Here is a youtube video of this worldmax series of drumsets. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2mX1gFB3co"]Get Wittet: WorldMax brass kit: the best metal kit ever? V.2 - YouTube[/ame] Published on Aug 14, 2014

It took 2-years but I've just bought the drums of my dreams: WorldMax, 22/10/12/16x16 on suspension cradle/legs, 14x6.5" snare. Talk about Bonham and his "cannons" as per my tributes in Modern Drummer mag; he would have loved these. These drums defy the imagination--their extreme weight, their instantly rich tone at all volume levels, their vintage appearance etc. I followed my gut and it's taken since 1970 when I saw Christian Vander play his all metal Asba kit w/ 16" kick. Over the years, I've tried every metal kit I could find; bought new Ludwig Stainless in the seventies, etc. NOTHING comes close to the WorldMax: quality, tone, freaking weight! This clip is a teaser; I'll have them in the studio in a week. Ms Hera Lo, from WorldMax Int'l/Taiwan, thank you for the heart. You even sent a bag of spares: gold plated tension rods, clips, etc! These are elite drums, elite quality and tone. And they're not sold in America by WorldMax USA, which distributes the excellent black gunmetal "Black Beauty" style Black Dawg snare drums. My new WorldMax drums are breathtaking instruments: you know I wouldn't utter that if I didn't mean it 100%

Those drums sound great, seems like we're probably just hearing the camera mic too...they also look great and I like how he has the toms set up. Nice fluid playing style as well.

Other than that I wasn't impressed. :)

Published on Oct 28, 2014

This rare WorldMax all-brass drumset, not available in America, sounds good tuned-low. Scroll down the home page TBruceWittet.com to listen. Readers, however, wanted to know if these drums work cranked up...almost "Bill Stewart - up" (Bill: you okay with that?). I think it sounds great high played with mallets, tribute to Jack Bruce, and sticks to a perverted Alesis sequence.
