Looking for a 1970s Pearl wood fiberglass floor tom Last viewed: 2 hours ago
I'm trying to sell my Wood fiberglass drumset. Wish I could keep it. I just joined this Forum.
It is too bad you have to sell your kit. I really hate to part with anything I have so I know how you feel. I just recently picked up this 3 piece Pearl wood fiberglass kit in sliver satin, 22 12 13 but no floor tom. It took quite a bit of work to clean it up but it cleaned up really nice. The best part is I only paid 50.00 for the three drums and they also threw in a 1969 supra 400 that was with the kit. So I made out OK on the deal, nothing like a good garage sell with drums. That always makes me very happy when I do the drive by and see drums sitting at a curb. I almost kill everyone in the truck because I stop so fast and almost throw everyone through the windshield. I will try as soon as I get a chance and post some pictures of the drums. How much are you gonna ask for your PWF kit and what is the finish? Thanks,
Al

I sold my W/F silver satin kit last year. 24-13-14-16-18. I always loved that color. I still have the matching 6-8-10-12 concert toms that are maple if you are interested. (that's right, it was the late 70's / early 80's and we played a lot of Rush covers.)

I have a 1970 Pearl powertone wood fiberglass floor tom but it is in black, you could probably find a matching wrap though.
I am still searching for that ever elusive WFG floor tom in silver satin. It can be yellowed out because the drums are in that condition and I want to keep them original. So if anyone out there knows of one please send me an email, or you contact me through the forum.
THANKS
I have a Good use set of old Pearl chrome bass drumm spurs for Sell .Not asking a lot for them .There is not any rubber on these at all .Came off my old set .I bought some more
Hi, thanks for your reply back. I have the original spurs and they are in really good shape. However it has been that WFG floor tom that has been very hard to find. The drums will be complete and ready to play out as soon as I can find a FT and tune them up. I only have $50.00 in the whole kit minus the FT and it even had a nice 68 Ludwig Supra that came with it. So not too bad of a deal I just need to find that FT. Thanks
What is the price range you are looking to spend?...I got your P/M and have the word out and have a few lead's on a 16x16 and a 16x18 floor toms in silver silk..In the Wood-fiberglass shells....Mikey
