Are these for a student , beginner or just for someone looking for an inexpensive decent set? I have lots of them but would need to know where you are headed.---mostly pricewise----Could do a really nice set of new DIRILS , if you like . Those are serious cymbals but at a not serious price. p.m. me if you want some details. Dirils compare favourably with anything out there and they are beautifull to boot.

Hey calfskin, I'm interested in an inexpensive set of cymbals. I'm not ready to buy, though...got another project in the works. Just curious, what does a set a set of Dirils run?

I'm the importer, so I can give you a good deal. You will pay what a drumshop will pay .

I can send you a list of weights ( maybe even some sound files ,if I can get my act together on that). It would depend on the size of the ride of course, but around 450.00 for hats, crash and ride.( 13's,16 and 20) + shipping.The sizes of the hats( I have 12,13,14 at the moment) crash ( I have 15,16,17,18,19,20 at the moment) and(18,19,20,21,22,23,24 and 26 rides), obviously affect the final tab. you won't get dinged for Canadian taxes ----they can stuff it and I'll send it as a gift if you want so Uncle Sam can stuff it as well.

I will certainly keep that in mind. Like I said, it'll be a while, but it's been on my mind for about a year now.
