I'm looking for Pearl Fiberglass shells, any and all sizes, but mainly 20" kick drum and 18" floor tom. Doesn't matter if they are raw or covered...I'm looking for them!

I'm looking for Pearl Fiberglass shells, any and all sizes, but mainly 20" kick drum and 18" floor tom. Doesn't matter if they are raw or covered...I'm looking for them!

Good luck finding the 14x20 and 16x18. Hard to find.

Just off the top of my head, I've got:

1 complete "standard" set of shells (14x22, 16x16, 9x13, 8x12 satin blue wrap -- BD is missing bottom section of wrap)

1 extra 14x22 shell (raw)

1 extra 9x13 shell (raw)

1 extra 8x12 shell (satin blue wrap)

1 extra 14x16 shell (raw, cut down from 16x16)

1 extra 9x13 shell (Pearl President "phenolic" red oyster pearl wrap)

1 extra 8x12 shell (Pearl President "phenolic" red oyster pearl wrap)

Most of the above could be "with" or "without" drum hardware.

I've got more, but the above is what I don't have slated for projects (yet anyway). The set listed above, however, is probably "next in line" as to what I'm working on -- but if you want it and your price is right I'd let you finish it up...

John,

I had seen the first one, but not the second. The first one has been rewrapped, as Pearl didn't offer that finish (at least in the American market) on the drums of this era.

I had to chuckle a little after reading the second one -- as much as I (and a few others I know) LOVE the Pearl FG and W/FG drums of this era, they were NEVER "highly sought after!!" I've seen that a lot when people are trying to sell them though!

For what it's worth, to the end-user, neither one's price is out-of-line. I can typically sell these sets (standard 22/16/13/12) fully refurbished and sometimes even rewrapped for $400 to $500 tops. But then I pick them up for $100 or less before I start on them.

Vinnie,

I'm at work right now, but will answer your email about the 18" floor tom when I get home this evening. I'm still thinking about it...
