GlennI have them both outfitted with 60's original heads and tuned the same. I cannot hear enough difference in sound to even say that there is a difference.Mike

That's a beauty, Mike. Congratulations on a great looking and sounding kit. It's got me wondering about the subtle - or not so subtle - differences between a 18x14 and 18x12 bass drum.
