Hi all,

I picked up a 1965 Club Date in red lacquer, which I've been refinishing. It came with one hoop which I assume is original. It was freshly repainted black--inlay and all--but a little fingernail-scraping revealed a red sparkle inlay underneath.

I haven't removed the paint, so I don't know the condition of the inlay. The hoop itself has some dings and bears the impressions of the bass claws, but it looks pretty good with its fresh coat of paint. A good sanding job, and maybe some putty if you're really picky, would take care of things quite nicely.

Since I'm not going with red sparkle for the kit, I'd rather buy a new hoop than take the inlay out of a vintage hoop. Any takers? PM me with an offer.
