but there are a few things I'd like to double check before purchasing. First off, is this the original wrap? The hi tom and bass drum look virgin, and I didn't know Ludwig made virgin drums in 61. This led me to think they could have been re wrapped. Also, would the "modern" spurs used have required any extra holes? Finally, if there's anything else then please point it out. Thanks!
The mounted tom is a clubdate tom. Also the wrap has cracks in it. the seller states the modern bass drum spurs left an extra hole, You need to lay eye's on the kit to determine the other issues you asked about. the pics just don't show what you are asking or ask the seller for other pics, also the price is too high

I'll just echo what Vm2K and Mr Layton said.There's definately some issues with the "set".The tom was an add on,and not original to the set,and is either 8x12 or 9x13,not 8x13.
The extra holes,and aftermarket spurs, severely affect the asking price,as the drums have been modified ( hot rodded) from original condition.Any mods to a vintage kit,decrease,not increase it's value.
Those Mahogany/poplar/mahogany shells do sound great,if the drums are mostly in round,and the bearing edges are in good shape.The finish is kind of rough and cracked.
This is a players kit,and not collectable.Old and vintage dosn't always translate into big money,and that kit is at least 4-500,over priced.The saving grace is what looks to be an 8 lug snare.

Totally agree with all above.
Only, with all due respect, allow me to differ about the value of the kit.
If the overall conditions do not present any anomaly more serious than those described, this 'non collectable but funny player grade kit' can add altogether about $800 (regarding especially if the snare is a Jazz Fest).
