Hey all,

For a while now I've been thinking of a 60's DB snare & am curious as to value, in decent condition. It seems that the one's I see on ebay are a pretty penny in the BIN category.

Thoughts appreciated!

it looks like the silver brings a good buck i sold one to a famous drummer for 675 last year

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

What wrap?

Any wrap, really. It seems that whatever anyone wants to ask for, they ask & sometimes get. Almost seems that there are so few listed (t/ I know) that getting a take on $ is not so easy.

Thanks guys - chris

I guess the price is between what I paid $350 shipped, and what jaghog received then. I personally wouldn't pay over $400, and have bought two in the last 4 months for less. Wait, and it will come.

I used to rent one when I toured England. Best sounding snare I've ever played, no matter what size room.
