Ludwig 6" non concert tom Last viewed: 11 hours ago

All,

Newbie to the board, I want to say thanks for all the information shared. I recently acquired this drum as a add on to another drum sale. I cannot tell what year it is. Seems to be from 79-84? But I cannot find anyone selling any 6" toms. I am trying to get a understanding of its value. Most of the 6" toms I see are octobons or concert tom arrays. The wingnut for the tom mount is obviously not original.

Any Help would be nice. Here are some pics.

That badge places it at around 1984 because Ludwig only used that badge for about a year before leaving Chicago.

Looks like it's an L-612 model.

Cool tom you have there .

Yes you are completely right .Hard to fine a 6 inch by any body

I had a 6 and a 8 by Grea some kind of G word .I can't spell it out to you .lol

but they was the long toms until I cut those down and make shorter toms out of it .Which in fact it did sound pretty good after I did that .

thanks for that catalog picture, and the information. I guess my next move will be to list on eBay or Craigslist and see if anyone is looking for such a creature.

Regards,

Wes

If you have the hoops for it I might be interested. Send me a PM with price when you get time. Appreciate it, thanks.
