That BDP is really nice..
I have a pre 1950 W&A 12 by 14 tom..and that BDP is excellent also...
When did they change to the smaller pattern?.Or did they?
I know Slingerland and Camco had nice BDP in the 60's..and even Gretsch did...but I do not think the 60's Ludwig stuff was in the same league...

Thanks, Blair. The pattern was changed after the split up of Leedy and Ludwig & Ludwig, I believe. However, the Leedy & Ludwig drums had this large pattern, too. I guess smaller pattern started around the mid fifties.
