Ludwig & Slingerland Bronze Snare Drums Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Hi All,

Need to raise some $ so two of my all time favorite snares are going on the block. No hype, no sales pitch. You guys know what these drums are. It is absolutely top-shelf pro quality equipment. PM me. They won't last long.

1. Early 80's Ludwig 5"x14" Hammered Bronze Supraphonic snare drum. This is one of the early 'good ones.' Warm, woody tone and one of the best sounding snare drums you'll ever play. The drum has been outfitted with a Millennium strainer, *die-cast batter hoop (*rim shots will tear your f'n head off and the drum stays in tune,) Pure-Sound Split Snares (no buzzing ever,) and Evans heads. Some tarnish/patina on the metal which polishes off, (I like the patina myself,) all lugs and hardware are clean and in A-1 condition. The drum is a Monster.

$400.00 - Shipping is included in price. Lower 48 states only. Priced for quick sale. Check ebay!

2. 6.5"x14" Slingerland NOS Bronze snare drum. I purchased the shell on ebay awhile back. There are several old threads about this drum if you care to hunt them down. It's a drum I made using a NOS 70's 6.5"x14" Slingerland bronze shell, modern repro Beavertails, a vintage Ludwig strainer and Pure-Sound wires. Evans snare head, Aquarian Vintage batter head. A drummers drum. My workhorse snare when I was playing out. One of the best sounding/playing snares you'll ever lay a stick to. Experienced drummers know about the sound quality of bronze. This drum will become your 'go-to' snare right after you take it out of the box. One of a kind.

$450.00 - Shipping is included in price. Lower 48 states only. Priced for quick sale.

PM me. Serious inquiries only. As always, first come, first served.

BUMP!

These are two sweet snare drums at low price points for the items. I'm genuinely surprised they haven't been snapped up by now!

Like your WFL kit, I would buy both of these in a heartbeat, but unfortunately, now is not the time my friend. Both are beautiful drums.

Oh, and "BUMP"
