The snare will be COB with that dial muffler. The only ones that could be either aluminum or COB have a red felt BB muffler. It should also have a vertical weld seam.

+1 And I have NEVER seen a Ludalloy snare with crimped snare beds. If you find a seam then you have a COB drum, easily worth twice the price for the whole set!
