Great price, rare kit, tough colors to sell. I'd say he has it priced right for a quick sale.

It's got your trigger finger itchy don't it? I don't think you'd be able to move the kit for 'much more' than what he's asking for them. For 'keepers' it's an excellent price. For resale... not so much.

Have a customer in Japan that might want them...he gets crazy money for stuff..so I still might be able to make $300-400 on them...and he makes a fortune on them....

"he makes a fortune on them"? You could either sell them to your pal in Japan for $1300 so he can flip them and "make his fortune", or.... you could post them on eBay with a Buy It Now price of $2000 and a big WILL SHIP TO JAPAN. Whomever your pal is going to sell them to in Japan will jump on it, and you've cut out the middle man.

I would keep them simply because they're few and far between, and i'm sure many Ludwig collectors out there would pay some good coinage to add that certain vista that's missing from their almost "complete" collection, should you choose to sell in the future.

FYI, the last drum kit shipped to John Bonham's home before Zeppelin embarked on what was to be their final tour, was a blk/wht swirl vistalite in Bonham's sizes.. He never got a chance to use the kit..At one point in it's history, Mick Fleetwood owned it..Not quite sure who's in possession of that kit, but all i can say that he's one lucky dude..The one weird thing about this link is that it shows him playing on a blk and wht swirl vistalite with concert toms in the 5pc configuration, but then shows Mick Fleetwood playing a kit with Bonzo's regular sizes.. The book is great..I own a copy and it's very informative on what he used on studio, live, what he owned, gave away, etc..
