Ludwig B/O 3 ply Granitone with a sad BB wrap... CHEAP
First off, these aren't mine. These belong to Dana Bentley of Bentley's Drum Shop. I conned him into letting us on VDF have a go at these before he puts them on eBay. Also, I'm not making a cent off of these. I'd take them myself, but I already have two Ludwig project kits in like condition, and I'm out of space (and my mind).
B/O badged (kinda, see the pix) 3 ply Granitone kit with a Keystone Supraphonic. Normal sizes on all.
Condition: Well, the wrap is hideous... These are a perfect re-wrap project. You will not feel bad about stripping this wrap off and putting your dream wrap on. Trust me. The most upbeat thing I can say about the original wrap is once removed from the drums, you may have enough to do a snare or two... and that's if you're very lucky.
The vintage 60's Supra has a rash. See the pictures. The strainer (throw off) is not original. I didn't look at the heads or snare wires so assume the worst.
The wood shells look okay, on a quick inspection I didn't notice any moisture damage. As I said, it's hard to get past the wrap. Bottom edges are fair to good, but I didn't notice anything that could not be cleaned up with sandpaper and a light sanding. Normal condition of the edges on drums found in similar condition.
Bit's and pieces: The 12" tom is missing the bottom head, bottom hoop, and bottom T-rods.
The 13" has one lug missing, the screw for the tom mount is gone, and the Bottom head/hoop/ T-rods as well.
The 16" is missing the bottom head/hoop/ and t-rods.
The Bass Drum is missing the Spurs, part of the bracket it seems, the batter head, hoop, 1/2 of the T-rods and claws, and of the 1/2 present one T-rod / claw isn't original.
The tom mount is missing parts. Various nuts, screws and such are missing.
Rust, dust and spider webs are supplied free of charge.
The good thing? These drums will set you back $300.00 delivered to your door.
