Oh, Mike! I can't believe you're selling off your beautiful Rock kit! I hope you're not quitting playing.

Whoever ends up with it will be a very happy camper. Best of luck with the sale.

Hey John and to all the peeps here,

As some of you know and some don't I am sure about a year and a half ago I was diagnosed with Auto Immune Hepatitis, this disease has turned my world upside down, at first I was ****ed off and I sold my maple Bonham kit and said to heck with it, well i had regrets and just had to have another big bass drum kit so i looked till I found this one it is the second best set i have ever played my Rogers being first anyway the medications I am on leave me with no energy, and i feel like i have the flu every day 24 , 7 well I have to man up and understand the drugs are saving my life and some thing are going to be different and this is what i am doing. I do not have the energy to play nor the desire but I will just have to adjust and quit trying to compare myself and the things I could do before i got sick cause them days are gone and i am ok now with it I will collect my Social security and go fishin when I want and not worry about living up to the way it used to be.

I am not looking for sympathy but just letting you guys know why i need to sell them and move on I have enjoyed my drumming career of 47 years way more than i can express and now it is a new chapter in my life this forum and all the awesome members who put up with me have made the last year or so bearable i thank you one and all...

Mike - For 'quick sale' also offer to sell the drums and cymbals separately! Post a price for the shell-pack and another for the cymbal package. I hope you get a buyer for the whole kit and kaboodle, but it might go faster if you split it into two package deals. More affordable to more people...

I'm a Hep C (liver patient) too, Mike. There's life after chemo and anti-viral treatments. Hang tough. Smoke some good quality herb! It helps to keep your appetite up so you don't develop wasting syndrome on top of the liver problem, and it helped to keep my mood up, I never once suffered from depression (or suicidal thoughts which is frighteningly common,) during my chemo treatments.

BTW - In case they're using Interferon, Hair grows back! lol Break a leg with the sale bro...

Dear Mike

I'm sorry to hear of your illness. I'm coming back to playing after years of struggling with a rare form of arthritis called ankylosing spondilitis. It stopped me in my tracks when I was younger and recently they came out with injections that gave me my life back and I'm taking lessons, getting my chops back. I'll never be able to tour or play full time but at least I can play again. I hope you find a silver lining. Things can change. Its a beautiful set. I wish you the best.

Rich
