What's an old fashioned guy got to do to get a new Ludwig catalog! Been to 3 alleged, ludwig dealers in NJ, nobody has one or for that matter, Ludwig drum keys or drum cases in stock. Yea, I know - go online, print off the massive pdf which won't fit the page or be in color. Got a call in to Ludwig Cust. Srvc.. Any other ideas? Just bought a newer bop classic maple 5 x 14, and trying to get any and all details on it now - so I don't have to pay $50. for the info 50 years from now! Yes I am that anal!

You can always bring/send the catalog PDF to Staples or a local print shop with digital copier/press. They can format page layout it and print out a couple for you folded, stapled, trimmed to size. Should not be very expensive. You can select type of paper too. Coated matte paper is normally best for reading. Gloss is nice too but will reflect a bit reading. Get the cover on thicker stock and guts on text weight. Tuck a few away for safe keeping. Many companies offer PDF digital files to cut back on printing costs and whatnot. Going green and all that ya know.
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

I got a catalog at the Ludwig Booth at the Chicago Drum Show. No price list just drums, hardware and accessories. No Percussion stuff either. There is no contact info listed.
Thanks Gerald. I will have to update my listing here, and I appreciate your response - I did get a phone # for Ludwig, and I'm going to see what they tell me. I'm always concerned about publishing rights etc. when thinking about reprinting something, and like I mentioned I'm obsessive about having an original!!
