Ludwig Cymbal Arm Question Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Loading...

I bought this set yesterday to sell to help fund my percussion camp this summer. They were missing some pieces, but is bought a whole box of parts at a garage sale last year, so I'm hoping to make some fit. Anyway, on the bass drum, there is a cymbal arm (I think) but it's missing the top part. Is this special or can I just find any top from an old cymbal stand? Thanks!

if you could find that matching piece of what you have there, you'd be set. that part looks like the very top of the tilter portion of a cymbal stand. I scanned a pic for you from the 69 Ludwig standard catalog. its different from yours, but yours would be fine if you could just fine that one piece..

Yeah, that's what they are. I thought they looked really cool. I've only played the snare, but it sounds awesome!

the snare is basically a jazz festival with different lugs and wrap. that's some good stuff you've got there..

That's a really cool set. A lot of people would be interested in it. Don't let anybody try to tell you it's not worth anything. It's awesome! Good luck on your sale.
